During the course of the past 15 years many local and international volunteers have spend countless days, weeks and months on the Bezuidenhoutshoek Nature Reserve doing what they love. One such person started as a volunteer and ended up as a lifelong friend returning year after year to continue his work. The unselfish efforts of Henri Serise, a Dutch resident who visits South Africa every year, has earned him his own valley. The rehabilitation and conservation efforts op people like Henri is a key part of the ongoing work that is taking place on the reserve. Not only does it leave a legacy but it changes who we are as people. Thank you Henri for your contribution and your friendship. Looking forward to seeing you next year.
